Hi, my name is V and I take pictures.

I am a multidisciplinary photographer based in Tokyo, Japan. When I was 8, my mom handed me a disposable camera to take to camp, and I haven't stopped shooting since. I got my start in photojournalism and events, and gradually discovered a deep love for portraiture. I love to photograph people: Their emotions, memories, strength, beauty, and love. I believe photography is a transformative tool that more people should have access to, and it is my goal to make that happen.
